Open— The cardholder's bank has disputed the payment and no final decision has been made. The disputed funds may already have been taken from the merchant while the dispute is defended.Won— The dispute was decided for the merchant, and the disputed funds returned.Lost— The dispute was decided for the cardholder, accepted, or left undefended past its deadline. The disputed funds stay with the cardholder.
